Hi All,

Just wanted to say welcome back to everyone. I'm a loooooooong time lurker (on this and two other forums here at BTC due to other probs besides my spine). I decided to pop in and say "Hi and welcome back" to a wonderful group of people that I have come to care so much about. I'm sure there are a ton of lurkers, like myself, that have, over the years, come to care and be grateful to all you folks. Grateful for all the knowledge and information you provide to us that are too shy or unable to post etc (for a multitude of reasons). As usual there are a zillion thoughts/feelings running through my mind that I have difficulty expressing, but mostly I just wanted you to know I'm glad you are here, doing what you do (helping/sharing/caring etc). Well as usual my faulty brain is getting too jumbled to say all I would like to say so I will just say a big THANK YOU to all for being who you are and keep up the good work. :) You are truly appreciated.

Best wishes for better days ahead.

It is nice that you registered & posted.

Bring some other lurkers out into the open ... if being down for a while brings in new faces we already have a good outcome to being down for a while ... I is not a normal recruiting tool but it seemed to float your boat.

Lower the anchor and stay for a while.

Welcome,

Joey54 :)

Thank you for the welcome Joey54. :) I hope my posting does help encourage other lurkers to join in. I think it's a bit scary for some of us (due to shyness/insecurities etc) but a kind welcome like yours is a big help. :D

So glad you are here with us. Didn't you miss this place?? I couldn't wait for it to come back. I've been a member for about a year, and it is the greatest place to go for people who understand. Glad to have you and hope you'll join in now. It took me awile, too!!!!

Welcome, Hooked!

Thank you uvamomb for the kind welcome. Yes I did miss this board. I checked back regularly to see if it was back. I was very pleased the day I clicked and saw it was. :) And yes the folks here are wonderful.

I think coming in like this to a fresh board is helping some of us who lurked to come out and post more. We don't feel like we are coming into a party that has been going on for years but are now in at the beginning...kwim?

I always felt intimadated coming in here cause everyone knew everyone else. Now, we are all in the process of re-introducing ourselves, ALL of us have NEW MEMBER stuck under our name for our title. And it's feeling like home. Liz

hey lurker I for one am very happy you decided to show yourself:) , no more hiding or we cant say hellooooooooooo.

I Have to run now, ooops I forgot I cant run;) oh yeah that was that dream the other night, me dancing with John Travolta via Saturday Night Fever, then I woke up with a wet diaper, damn just when I thought I could share something really cool with a newbie:D , hope I made you smile and feel welcomed.

If memory serves me right Ive been here since about 1999 no less than 2000, Ive had so many names, so much memory loss ... I better go to bed now my brain is feeling the affects of the icecream I just had.

BIG hugs and Hello to all you Lurkers, come on in, talk about your woes, I promise I wont wish mine on you.

Dorothy from Oz, I just sent the tornado Northbound.....

Hey Dorothy, my husband is currently on assignment in the Land of Oz, blow HIM north please.

I've actually been a member of BT since it's days on the MGH site but never posted much because the only forum I ventured onto was the PN one.

It wasn't until this past fall that my back acted up enough to send me to this forum. And I am glad I found it. I've felt more comfortable here than any of the other forums.

Hooked_on_BTC, I'm glad you came out of lurkdom and posted too. Liz

Southernlady, nice to meet you. :) I think you're right about "a fresh board helping some of us who lurked to come out and post". I felt less intimidated since there were only a few members here at the time I posted. I've always been nervous in a crowd in real life and that's kinda how it felt coming in to the old board with sooooo many members. As you said, like coming into a party, and you're the NEW GUY who knows nobody  Thank you for making me feel welcome. :)

Dorothy from Oz, thank you so much for your kind welcome. You did indeed make me smile and feel welcome. I loved Saturday Night Fever (boy, does that bring back memories). I've always watched for your posts. I admire you so much, you are a true inspiration. You have kept such a wonderful attitude throughout all you've been through. I often worried when there was no word from you, and then rejoiced at finally seeing a post. I'm glad to see you back here again and wish you all the best. well, lots of things in my brain that I'd like to say but as usual having trouble getting them out. Will leave it as is and just say..

Thanks again to both of you :)

Hang loose & when things settle down & it gets cold we will learn a lot and I feel like a sponge for knowledge.
