small intestines had twisted

Well You all are not going to believe. I got home from the PM I got the biggest pain in my right side. Thought it was my diverticulitis. I had part of my large intestine removed 4 years ago and had no trouble from then on. Will I had to go some where fast. Got to the ER and they when to work on me so fast. They gave me 2mg of every 45 Didlawdon (spelling wrong) mins sent me to cat scan and my small intestines had twisted some how. They sent me up stairs for the night and called the surgeon and they had to put a tube down my nose and I hate that. But it worked by this morning it had worked it's way back right. I just got home about 3 hours ago and It is happening again. the pain that is. Just like yesterday. Is it going to happen again? What should I do? I don't want to make a fool out of myself. And that tuble is He!!. I just took some pain meds. Will let you know if I have to go back.

My Mom had this, it was horrible. She started vomiting her abd. contents if you get my drift. The dr. made her wait over a long weekend while he went out of town, she had that tube in and it was horrible. They had to go in and straighten it out. Poor thing, I can't imagine.

Please don't wait and get caught by yourself and not able to get to a phone, as you already know, it's very serious.

Keep a close eye on this, my Aunt and Uncle had to have my cousin in the hospital for about a month and a half because of something similar to this. He can't talk though, and couldn't tell them how much pain he was in, and by the time they figured out something was wrong they had to remove part of his colon because it had gotten twisted and died. He was on the verge of death when they finally found what was wrong with him.

Anyway, just keep an eye on this, and go back to the hospital if you think you need to. The tube may not be fun, but it's better than surgery!

It is not getting any better it is getting worse. God I really don't want to go back. Maybe if they can spray my throat before they do it. My throat is still sore.

I too know that tube down the nose so well...It is absolutely disgusting...I tried to get out of it by telling them I had sinus surgery and my surgeon said the tube would not go where they thought it was going...It could go to my brain...That did not work...It did come out my mouth instead...They did eventually get it into my stomach...DARN!

I am felling better other than staying a head of my headache today. And my pain. we have that TD going over top of us here and it make pain alittle worse. But in all doing good as good can be for me.

I can say it has been a bad month for me. I feel good right now. It all started with the meds I was on killing me and had to get off of it ( Tramadol) and now I am off the cymabtla. I have had a small stroke from high BP and migraines to where I had to go to the ER 3-4 times. Then when they did the CT scan they found the lumps on my thyroid Then my small intestine thought they would get in the act and turn on me. so it has been ruff month.
