First I would like to thank all who replied with their thoughts. It's like real estate......location,location,location and a few other factors thrown in,i can't have another surgery. I have had time to reflect and i am better off then some here and worse off then some and then there is my friend who died a few weeks ago from an aneurysm. I have decided to count my blessings and let be what will be. after reading what others are going through , i feel so sad for them and we joined a club no one wants to be in !!! God be with us all,for he is there in the good times and the bad times..........

:o I am so sorry about your friend!!! I know this is though enough to have one yourself, to lose a friend of the same fate must be very hard!! I will keep you and her family in my prayers!! ;) I also know how you feel about this "Club", I know it can be very frustrating!!! I am 2 years post rupture, I have been mostly homebound for the whole time. I am just now starting to get out once in a while. :) Although, I pay for it when I do!! I usually sleep for 2 days after with headaches!! But, it is worth it every time!!! :p
I can't remember when you found out about your Annie?? I can't remember anything?? Where is the one you can't have fixed at?? If you don't mind me asking?? Have you got a 2nd opinion?? I know how much this has changed my life, and I live day by day trying to make the best of every one that I can!!! I am finally starting to feel a bit better, still have a lot of "problems" although I hope they will get better in time also!! Keeping a positive attitued is hard but, it helps your recovery! That is why I write poetry, listen to music and try to do things I like. Even if it is just sitting out in my flower garden or on the deck with my kitty! :D
I am so sorry about your friend and hope that you pray about your "Annie", God has powers that the Dr's don't!! It seems the more I pray about it, the better I feel?? ;) I will be praying for you!! Take care hun!! Tricia
Hi Kyria
I think you are an amazingly strong and wise woman. I know it is hard to find that kind of acceptance when you realise you are powerless - but in a way, putting it in the hands of higher forces is a relief in itself.
You have my admiration, my thoughts and my prayers.
Hugs

Kyria, I appreciate your honesty - and your ability to be able to leave to "other powers". That's a very difficult situation to be in, but you are obviously very brave and practical. Prayers are certainly with you.

I'm in the same club. I have two aneursyms and one that's been clipped. Luckly the untreated aneursym is low enough it won't bleed into the brain. It's 11mm on the carotid artery. I guess it's in a bad spot and they won't clip it. I have to say that I would dread going through another clipping, but I worry that it will rupture.

Hi Kyria! You are an inspiration to me! The next time I am having a "pity party for Lori day", I am going to try and remember your thoughts. All the best to you.
