My son Brad, has been the victim of a car jacking today.
He was attacked leaving a shop, he was punched to the floor as he opened his car door.
His car was stolen and he was dragged up the road where he had been trying to stop the evil little sh*t from getting away.
He has a black eye and lots of cuts and grazes, luckily he wasn't killed, he is only small as he has an eating disorder, I just hope this doesn't make it worse.

I'm so angry and upset I could spit feathers!

Love to All.

Tracy.

Tracy,
So sorry to hear about your son's bad day. Hope the little Sh*t that did this to him gets what he deserves. Crazy world out there. It makes me so angry when I hear about incidents such as this. I am just amazed when I listen to the news. So thankful that your son was not hurt even worse. Hopefully he will mend and be ok.Any news about the recovery of his car?
Please take care of yourself.

Tracy,

My heart goes out to you and your son, Brad. I know it is hard to take in now, but you and he are so blessed that he was not hurt worse. Hold tight to each other. Gather up strength that comes from your community of friends in this forum. Take care of yourself!

Oh my goodness  that's unbelievable. You hear about stuff like this happening, but you never think it will happen to someone you know and love! I actually wondered how things were going with your son. I remember how concerned you were last year about his eating disorder. Why do you think this will set him back? Is he depressed? I know I would be totally freaked out and probably need time to heal, especially mentally. I'm so sorry for you and Brad, I hope they find the creep that did this and give him a bit of his own medicine.

Hi All,
Thank you all for the replies. I didn't manage to get much sleep due to worry, it hasn't done my TN much good either, getting zapped on my left side middle branch quite badly since around 3am.
Still I'm not bothered about me.

The police have been very good, they arrived on the scene within 10 minutes and there were several police cars in the area looking for the car and the little b*&%$£" that stole it.

The local radio station also put out an alert and there were several sightings in the town centre, but no luck with it being found as yet.

Brad is very shaken up, he has many good friends that have been out looking with him and supporting him. I have phoned the insurance company and he will get a hire car for now as he cant claim for 48 hours incase the car is found, what condition it will be in if found is debateable.
As some of you know Brad struggles with bulimia and is only 9 stone, so he was an easy target.
When he gets upset he struggles to keep his food down, he feels that by making himself sick he has some control on his life, it's all sad really.

I just hope to god that I get my hands on the little sh*t that did this to him, I would be up on charges myself.

Love to all and many thanks for being there for me.

Tracy,

I'm so sorry for you both and I'm sending big cyber hugs to you both!!! Rest assured that what goes around, usually comes around. At least Brad is generally okay compared to what could have happened.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that the police catch up with the #@$%@$#!

Hey hon,

sorry this has happened to Brad! I do hope he is ok and gets over the shock. Might be worth getting him to talk to victims support?

Sending you both big hugs and healing vibes

Tracy, that's terrible! But, if there is a bright side, it is that he wasn't seriously injured at least. I know that grabbing the car was just one of those reflex things that a person does, but a scary thing to do. Thank goodness his injuries (at least the surface ones) will be gone soon. I think the anger I would have would take a lot longer to fade away. I will put my wicked thoughts to work on the little creep who did it and hope he gets some good hard jabs (as you know, when I am ROTU I will have a special place for jerks like him). Hope this isn't a setback on Brad's eating, but you take care of yourself and do something to have a little break from the stress and the pain and the worry. Big hugs, Nancy

Just to let you all know that Brad went to the police station today to look at mug shots.
Unfortunatley the little $%£^&*& pic wasn't there.
The police cant do anymore, so it looks like that's it.

The insurance claim is going through, waiting for an offer.

Will let you all know.

Hi Tracy, any more word on Brad's car? I was so sorry to hear about what happened to him, thank god he wasn't seriously injured! Really makes you wonder about this world we live in sometimes, that our children can't go about their business (no matter their age). Has this caused a set back with his bulimia?
Take care of yourself as well, try to get that pain settled down.
Sending love your way
Karen
