medicare part d supliment

whats up with the supliment is it meant to c9over me thru the "doughnut hole" or what i havent been able to get a decent anser on this last year i had my supliment thru the state or so i thought ????can anyone shed some light on this for me??? thanks dave aka 911:confused:

Find your supplement's web page and they explain what they cover through each stage. Most companies have more than one plan so it will depend on which one you have. If you can't find them go to Medicare Part D page and look on the list. See if it is listed and then go to their website. If it is through a group plan, they can give you their name. There are hundreds of plans so no one can tell you without knowing the plan. You should have received a Plan Summary which states the information you need.

My plan has different amounts for copay during the donut hole or stage 2. They will pay for generic but that is all. They were about the only one that paid anything during the gap. Only one plan was more expensive than mine.

Part D assistance from the state is based on income... did you income go up in 2006? or did you fail to fill out and send in a form? Call your Part D provider and ask them who you should ask the question to..

the only thing that has changed was me and where i am living , i was under the impresion it was a fed thing ??? last year it was the state i did call and aparently i am covered by the supliment thru my ' doughnut hole" with this supliment i got a letter that kinda freaked me out but i called and it all seems to be ok , my meds would cost upwards of 800 bux a month i cant afford that , so i think its all straight ps: , thanks guys for ansering , yours Dave aka 911
