Dear Ron,
The anniversary of your "Home going" has come and gone again. Some days, it seems like forever ago... so much has happened in our lives since you left. Dad has a girlfriend that he loves SO much... you'd like her. She loves music.
Bethany is going to have a baby! That doesn't seem possible, does it? Remember when you made up that silly song about her when she was a baby and even wrote it down in a book.?I wonder what ever happened to it.
Elisabeth has grown into a strking young woman. She is finding her way back to her faith. When God called you to Heaven, it broke her heart, but, just in the last month or so, she is trying to find her way back. She is a FANTASTIC artist, and she has YOU to thank for that.
I have learned to play a few more instruments. Lee plays the dulcimer you had. I play it too, sometimes. Every time I accomplish a song on a new instrument, I want to call you and tell you about it. You would LOVE the piano player at my church. He plays just like Floyd Cramer.
I am missing you so much as I write this. I just don't understand why, despite all my surgeries and health issues, I lived and you didn't. I know it was God's Will, but it hurts...
I will always love you with all my heart. You were my big brother, my cheerleader, my accompanist, my fellow musician, my internet surfer buddy,my BEST friend and my example of how to "live like you were dyin", even before you got sick. I still love you so very much, but I WILL see you again sometime, so I will not say GOOD-BYE. I will say, "I CAN'T wait until I see you again!!"
Love you forever,
Your little sis, Dar
