Well, I am again in limbo. The insurance denied to do surgery for stimulators because it is still experimental. I am in the process of appealling but it does not look good. I have an appt on the 22nd to talk about nerve blocks. I will ask about the botox then and maybe for some pain patches. The pain is there on daily basis, mostly in left eyebrow, eye and top and back of head. I have been having almost a dislocation in my collarbone and shoulder area that is excruicating to the point where I can't move, reach, roll, etc. Then, it just goes away as if it was never there. It makes me feel like it pops out, then back in. Don't know if related or not. Caught a cold so upped my trileptal to 2100mg. till I get over it. After all my sinus stuff and osteomyletis there I jump on the antibiotics as soon as signs occur. Don't know how to find someone to do the botox or if insurance will deem that as experimental also. I am a fighter so I will keep plugging along. I have good doctors behind me so I know it will be o.k. Not sure about this pain doc yet, his office is like fort knox with very little communication except by messages and e-mails. took 3 and a half weeks for her to submit the predetermination. It seemed ridiculous. Work needs me back.but I know I would be hopeless there. Seems like chaos follows everyone there too. Thanks for all the support. I'll keep you all updated. Jen
