my symptoms started suddenly 4 years ago and have evolved to chronic eye pain with blurry vision. pain in head and arms, legs. memory problems numbness
in hands, twitchiing and edma. Pain elavates at will thru out the day but never goes away. My neuro guy says "non specific neuropathy" it could be worse.
I am left with pain pills when nothing else works....something I thought I would never do............Help!!

Hi - I'm new here too... but just saw your post... you may want to look around in the peripheral neuropathy category for more information and a lot of posts and people. I have periperhal neuropathy (idiopathic, sensory) so no known cause and it impacts my sensory nerves (those that sense pain, heat/cold, feelings, etc) vs motor nerves, etc.

A year ago I never thought I'd be on all the meds I'm on myself, especially all the pain pills and considering having a pain pump surgically implanted. But when the pain isn't controlled and you begin to consider just about anything.

Sorry to hear you are in pain. There seem to be many here that are willing to help or at least "listen".
