I'm not sure if I'm remembering this correctly, but before when we were quoting a post that had a quote within it, didn't the whole thing show up? Yesterday I made a post and somebody quoted it in order to respond to it and clarify my confusion. Just now, when I quoted their response to thank them and to tell them why I had thought what I had thought (figure that one out :p ) my new message only showed the "quoter's" message. So now it looks kind of fragmented - you don't know what they were talking about unless you scroll up and find the earlier message.

I've seen this before and I don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong, or if the quote within a quote used to be a norm, or if I'm thinking of other forums all together. It's Friday and I'm tired.

So thank you in advance if a) you understand what I'm trying to say, and b) if you can help me.

But just to round it off with more dumb questions...... how did you get the box around the "inner" quote? Did you have two windows open, or.....oh wait - there is a little icon up here just above as I'm typing this. It looks like one of those speech bubbles. Is that the trick?
