G'day TSS,
Maybe VB1 treatment for the horse displaying neurological symptoms - is the way to go. I believe it will be proven one day that VB1 will be a simple treatment for any kind of neurological symptoms - in man or beast.

I'm glad that I didn't wait around for an hypothesis as to whether the VB1 treatment - which is used to treat PEM - Polioencephalomalacia - a brain wasting/destroying disease in livestock which has similar symptoms to BSE - would be successfull in treating the horrific symptoms I displayed.
Regardless of what I had, my symptoms were similar to our sheep which were scientifically diagnosed as with PEM.
Different cause - but similar symptoms - give or take a few and put into human terms.

TSS - maybe you could suggest for some vets to read about the treatment of PEM in sheep and cattle, in the Hungerfords Diseases of Livestock book - written by an Australian vet - T. G. Hungerford, published by Angus and Robertsons Publishers.

BSE - PEM - CJD - similar symptoms - why not similar treatment?
Have a nice day.
ainee.

G'day TSS,
Thank you - I have sent emails via this link weeks ago - but like many I've contacted before, I've had no response. I thought you may know vets or someone else in the medical scientific research areas, who may like to read the information in the Hungerford's Diseases of Livestock about the treatment of brain wasting/destroying diseases such as PEM.
Have a nice day
ainee.
