I have a cousin that is experiencing horrible headaches and pain above her ear. Her arms and hands go numb at time too. She describes the pain to her mom saying her brain hurts. She has had 2 MRI's done and nothing has shown up. One dr. said she had MS, this was before she even had the MRI done. The neurologist said she doesn't have MS. Any suggestions???? The pain is even brought on by eating.

That would be an unusual set of symptoms, but nothing is impossible with these two.

Thank you for your imput Rose. She is going to the dr. again on Thursday. I'm hoping it doesn't take forever to help her, like it did me.

kim.....could be thoracic outlet syndrome, arnold chiari malformation...or prob with her upper cervical spine...this is what comes to mind right now...sure there are many more.....good luck
