Jimmie had his second PT appointment today. The therapist said she could tell I had worked with him...honestly I thought I could have done more, but hey, Jimmie did great. He actually enjoyed Tummy Time. About 1/2 hour in though, he got tired. He began to cry and want his bottle. She pushed through it, and he has been asleep ever since. I knew he would be exhausted.

I'm glad it went well Lacy!!! And that's good that you work with him at home, that's important to keep the muscles moving as much as possible!!

Hi,
I am glad things went better this wek. I think he will get used to the PT and even come to enjoy it at some point. Keep working with him that is a big part of the process.
PS. You have a very cute baby.

So glad he is doing well. Is your therapist pretty good about showing things to do with him? I remember bicycling Rachels legs every diaper change, she loved it.

I meant to reply the first time you posted about Jimmie's PT session. Tom was never a big fan of PT. It's not known as "Physical Torture" for nothing. Tom always loved reading, so I used to take his favorite books and we'd get set up so I could read to him while the PT did his part. We still had lots of tears, but they stopped once I got started reading to him. Tom graduated from PT after a year. He's been in OT forever, though. Anyway, I just wanted to say, that if Jimmie never likes PT, it's okay. He'll still benefit.
