B/T Friends, Members and Appreciated Viewers,
For almost three years now, those of you who have been kind to view my postings as I'm the only one banging the "Awareness" drums for what has been claimed to be a very rare disease called Central Pontine Myelinolysis, an acquired toxic neuromuscular disease of the Central Nervous System.
If you have paid any notice to Breeze (My sign name) or WhataBreeze, there is NO doubt you have noticed the name Franky who is my just over three year old Boston Terrier who I was blessed to locate at a Boston Terrier Rescue in Kansas. Franky's mother who was rescued from a puppy mill just happen to be carrying a litter at the time. Without detail, it's very rare to get a ten week old puppy from a rescue.
The only time I've asked you the members along with B/T's followng of viewers to assist me in adding prayer was when my Father passed in March, 2005.
Franky who with no perticular training has been classified a Neuro-Service Care Giver to me. Shortly after I was diagnosed with CPM, one of the physicians felt raising a puppy would be great therapy for me. Interesting but I must admit, I truly believe it was Franky raisng me. As "WE" are currently a study at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute and Kennedy Krieger Institute, I'll be calling on them also.
A few weeks ago I noticed a lump on his shoulder just under the skin. I didn't wait as I immediately took him to the Vet to have a needle aspiration of the fluid done. Franky has a "Mast Cell Tumor," which is a cancerous growth. Depending on what stage it's in and what the tissue in that area appears is the main factors.
Franky will have surgery this Thursday, April 19th. I remember as I spent much time with my Father at the hospital and any leader of any religious denomination would ask my Father if he would like to have a prayer, he always said, "There is no such thing as to much prayer." G-d Bless...

Breeze, I will ask Teton and Toby, my next door doggie neighbors to add their prayers to mine for a smooth surgery and uneventful recovery, for Franky. Teton is a Brittany spaniel and Toby is a Jack Russell terrier. Cheerio.
ah something to take my mind off what will be hopefully the last time i have to sit in the dentist chair to get my permanent crown. it is taking them forever this time to get it right. i'm sick of that gooey stuff being in my mouth for about the 4th time! and then it not work.
i'll be thinking about the two of you and praying to read good results. i will be picturing dog and friend happily playing. what would we do without our loyal fur animals? they are there for us and dependable and such a gift!

Lord God in Heaven...you made these little animals and You gave us charge over them.
You know what these 4 pawed freinds mean to us.
Lord...we are hurting right now and are so afraid of the unknowns.
We are saddened by the news from our freind whose little "Buddy" is suffering a serious illness.
We ask for your mercy and healing of little Franky.
Living in this sin filled world we realize there is pain everywhere we turn and know its not your will that we or the animals you made should suffer.
We read in your word that you know when just one sparrow falls.
How much more concern you must have over our faithful companions that mean so much to us especially while we as humans suffer greatly as well.
We know that there is mighty power in prayer.
So we humbly ask for quick healing and a complete recovery for Franky.
We know you're a God who is loving and Kind.
Guide the Veterinarians hands in the surgery. Give him the wisdom and guidence he needs to treat his patient so that Franky may once again return to his good and faithful master.
This we ask in your name...that Your will be done here on earth as it is in Heaven....amen.
Breeze...please let us know if we can help in any other way.
Do you have the financial support you need to get Franky the best care possible? If not...please let us know...we can all pitch in something!

Hello all who continue to support Franky and I with such kind words expressed in postings along with all who have followed us by viewing our path for Central Pontine Awareness. I'm with my Franky usually 24 hours a day but in this last week I feel like there are more than 24 in a day. As Franky and I have learned, we have no need for hours, minutes as well as seconds. Our favorite clock only has days listed.
I felt the need to update you all as again your thoughts and continued prayers as you know assist in many ways. G-d Bless...
Franky and Breeze
thanks, we are waiting, praying and watching for good news.

Franky, today Breeze will be taking you to the nice vet person to remove that invasion in your little body.....don't be scared, this is a good thing. I've been saying prayers for you to only have a stage 1 tumor & for the vet to be able to remove all of it.
Breeze, I'm also praying for you, that the news today will be the best it can be & the future will look bright for you & Franky to have much more time together on earth.
Please God,let Franky be OK.

Franky and I were told the word, "Benign."
GOD gives us the "Strength" along with the "Will" to go on. Every hurdle we continue to face as our lives go on must build us up for what may be coming next. My Franky knew it was not time as he must accompany me on the journey to bring "Central Pontine Myelinolysis Awareness," to all in this world who unknowing remain susceptible to this neuromuscular horrific event that leaves us with an undiagnosed death or with chronic illness to many extremes.
Again I raise the point, "There is no such thing as to much prayer." G-d Bless You All...

Breeze,
I am so happy for both you and Franky! I didn't get to keep my dogs, Lucky and Jewel when I got DIVORCED:mad: I really miss them. I am hoping to get another dog. Something fairly small. Both of the other dogs that I had were large and would knock me over due to my balance problems.
My daughter and her boyfriend have a Boston Terrier too! I have a wonderful picture of my grandson with them both laying on their backs. They are both smiling;) . When I a computer that works, and scanner, I will post that picture I think you will like it!
You are so right about prayers. I appriciate any prayers for me. I have been off line for over a week due to a week long hospital stay:( . The gastrostomy tube that I had placed was so sore I was brought to my knees. My body was rejecting it like it was a foriegn body. So now I am now havw a nasogastric tube. A tube in my nose that goes down to my stomach. It is uncomfortable and not being able to eat is really driving me crazy!
Anyway, I am so happy for Framky and you!
God Bless:)
good news as we were praying for. God does answer prayers. keep us updated every now and then and just enjoy franky. pets are such a great reward for us lucky enough to have them. they can make sadness disapper with just a wiggle of their tails or purr or whatever - it all good.
