Hi

I have to decide if I should have a biopsy done by 10/25 and feel really very confused..

This is the information that I have:
1) Bone Scan - show a calvarium - hyperostosis frontal - 08/25/2006
2) Brian MRI - show a mild assymetric of the skull prominent thickenning of the superior convexity of the right parietal bone 09/14/2006
3) Next week I have a CT scan (3D) scheduled, diagnosis of - Parietal lytic skull lesion (diagnosis by neurosurgeon)

In Sep, I visited a orthopedic surgeon with the bone scan study, he ordered the brain MRI, then refered me to a neurosurgeon which has ordered a CT scan of my brain and wants me to decide if I want the the BIOPSY done, OR just wait and observe the lesion, by 10/25 (my next appointment).

What should I do??

Nancy

Nancy,

Could you explain your symptoms?

Hi Ozz,

The symptoms are the following:
1. Disbalance
2. Cervical problems.. pain, specially when I sleep
3. Shoulder problems..several times they got inflamated and had to be injected to relieve the inflamation and be able to work
3a.Unbalance walking in the mornings
4. Thryroid (hypo)
5. Urinary/Bladder control problems
6. Posture problems
7. Hearing problems
8. positive to inflamation indicators
9. Weak for my age, weak arms

I am currently seeing a reumo.. she is running some tests .. she says that definitely I have an Arthritis problem... but she has yet to determine which type it is. Up to now, all tests are negative, still have some more to do.

In the year 2000, due to pain I had an MRI done the result was some Cervical buldging discs.. and radiculopathy.

In 2006, due to urinary control problem I had a bone scan done, which led to the CALVARIUM.. then to the brain MRI...to now.

20 years ago, I fainted for unknown reasons. I fainted at least 5 times, most of them were in the morning. They did some tests.. related to sugar/blood.. and everything was OK. I stopped fainting, therefore the search for the cause stopped.

Any advise will be appreciated.. I lookup in the internet and get very confused.

Thank you,
Nancy
