Hi everyone, I am new here, although I have been reading your posts.
I am a 32 year old in Australia. I think I am suffering with anxiety disorders, but after reading your symptoms Im not so sure.

I dont even realise most of the time I am having anxiety until I get stomach cramps and end up the tiolet with diarreah.(sp?) Then the sweats start and I know its happening which it makes it worse. Its only in the mornings and will last for about an hour. Once Im out the house and on my way to work or dropping kids off etc, I am fine. Shopping is the worst, will happen mainly going to do grocery shopping, so I dont do it anymore as I can run to the toilet minimum of 3 times during my shopping. My husband does it now. (I got him trained well) Ive always been a little anxious as a kid, but it got worse I think when I was pregnant with my son.(He's 7 now) I couldnt go anywhere towards the end of my pregnancy without me thinking the worst about going into labour at the shop, my waters breaking etc... and always ended up in the toilets..
I read that some of you suffer worse on Sundays, mine is fridays. This is my bussiest day of the week and I am bad.
I havent seen a doctor yet as I am not sure if I want to put medication in my body, was thinking of natural therapies to start. Has anyone had any luck with that? The only thing I have tried is a tablet that stops diarreah, I could take a whole box and still be going. I am at my wits end and want to know whats wrong with me.
The last few days I have been light headed & dizzy and have lost weight (I am 49 kilos which is about 108 pounds) due to the toilet factor.
Thanks in advance.
Tess.

Welcome to the board Tess,

I am sorry you're having so much trouble with anxiety, it definitely sounds to me like you have had it. I don't know if there are any efective herbal remedies for anxiety, but maybe someone else will think of some and post about it here. I can understand about the shopping part, I have big time anxiety when shopping too but I am the only one in the home who can go out and do it so I have to deal with it as best as I can. I don't know about the toilet issues, I usually am pretty regular and don't have any complaints that way, but maybe others here do and can relate to that aspect of your posting above.

Glad you joined and posted, hopefully you'll feel better talking about it with us. Even if you don't go in and get something to deal with it, talking about it makes me feel a little better. :)

Welcome tess, you might want to ask your doc about St. John's Wort for your anxiety or at least look it up online. Good luck.
