Can't find a sitter - as usual

Tomorrow night is an event at Jeremy's school which all parents and students are supposed to attend. And, as usual, I can't find a sitter. Carly's PCA goes to class on Thursday nights. I've called the old sitter who is not available. I've called another who wasn't home. We have one more friend to call. But, I'm running out of options.

I don't really want just one of us to go with him. This is an annual thing and I hate to tag team parent for these things.

Anyone want a vacation in Massachusetts. BTW- it's supposed to snow 1-3 inches tonight.

I would love to come to MA...in the summer. Family lives in Rockland. In fact if you are anywhere near there, you may have seen them on the news recently. My cousin's house burned...4 alarm fire...4 little girls...police man got out 2 kids, cousin got out oldest, cousin's wife got out baby. House is a total loss. But I'm afraid I can't make it by tomorrow night! You could send Carly to IL?:D

ahhhh the age old babysitter dilemma....The person to find a solution for this one should be very very rich.

yeah. can relate. My respite workers all went to work daytimes, mostly in special ed or special needs fields. :( and dad moved out of town. I geerally only need a sitter in daytimes or school event evenings. I feel for you.
