Hi All....as you can guess...I'm very wiped out and tired today.
Thr Foal finally arrived....was looking out the stall this morning when hubby went down to feed MOlly and Doccers.....when he went to take the hay into Molly's stall, there were two heads sticking out looking at him!
Needless to say we're all so thankful that SHE's finally here and in perfect health. She was very dry, warm and standing drinking milk from Mommy Molly!
So we figure she was born sometime after midnight last night.
Thanks for all your prayers and concerns for this blessed event!
Cheryl
Check out the new babe pictures I've attatched here.

isn't that just like the way it usually goes, a watched pot will never boil, etc. molly did it by herself even with all the trecking up and down that hill you've done. at least now madison won't have to be envious she missed it too, lol. i was getting worried at how tiring this must be getting. now guess what movie watch last night and had not read this post? it was bess the story of a boy and his horse and of course bess #1 died with pneumonia before the young boy could get home from the navy and the colt died also. he was sad forever of course but when he was back on an island again he thought he was going nuts becase he kept hearing a horse neigh. there was one and it end up wil bess#2 swimming to make it to boat with injured owner on his trip home. hubby had seen it obsvisously becasuse he kept telling me what happened before it did but i didn't take a hint, we did not change the channel.
so happy that all is well. i agree molly looks prettier than ever and so baby has to be a cutie as well.
bty who picked the name? it is perfect i think! if you have time at all today, think about me and send up a prayer. i[m getting the dummy shot injections today. but that does not mean he won't hit a wrong spot. even when doc looks at my croooked spine and everything and stenosois i have been hurt a few times before during this type procedure. but at least not as bad as the spinal tap that was done just in doctor office with him doing the punch and see type injectiom. wow, now that hurt and i'm no wimp!

Crytears,
Thank you so much for sharing. Since I live on a farm I keep bugging my boyfriend saying we should get a horse. I had a pony when I was younger Midnight, I loved her but she would buck me off every once in awhile. We also had a miniture pony named PEANUT. She was so little. When we got her we didn't know that she was pregnant. The vet gave us the news. We all watched her closely. The Vet thought it would be 2 more weeks but she tried to give birth one night and passed away because she was too little.
I keep trying to come up with things that I want to do while I am still able and one of the things is to get a horse and just ride!
Thanks again, what wonderful pictures!:)

Lily is beautiful - sounds like Molly is a good mommie :D I know you are proud. What do you hand out at the birth of a foal? Carrot sticks?
