I'll join your non-PC chapter! May God Bless you all this Easter and may the Lord allow all of us a small time without pain. Enjoy your family and Friends, and by all means take time to reflect on the good in your life, look around and find the good, and maybe the bad will go away for awhile!!:)

For those that believe, Happy Easter, may we remember that he died for us and rose from the dead to show us the way.

It's great being sensitized to what others may think, only: When I first read the first post prior to the day, I thought: the term Easter woulda already turned off those whom hold differing beliefs. PC can also dip overboard, or go to extremes.

Anyway, thanks!

For years I strayed from any type celebrations... long story and don't want to bore you and others.

My point is that: I think that some are as dogmatic in their non-belief system as those whom chose to recognize certain dates :). Dogma in and of itself is a type of religion.

There really is no right or wrong. Live and let live and just ... lighten up :).

It's also, some like fruit, some like veggies, some: their system or body cannot digest too much. That's okay. Sooo... it is... live and let live and appreciate the differences and just have some fun with whatever makes one happy.

I, for one, though, am appreciative that someone offered a way for recognizing the day.

I do it a bit differently, though, if some may be interested:

I celebrate Life, my friendships. I make it about the people I'm with and so that the focus is on them. I made gift bags this year to reflect their interests... some are homebound, and like me: Chronic pain. I do it with no expectation, but, possibly a smile.

The messages isn't anything I want to impart, but maybe ones they wish to feel... and just the memories of being together. If they're feeling in the dumps, and want to say, "I feel like sh*t" that's okay, too. It's honest. But... most of all, they know: I did not forget and we shared some time together.

BTW: My doggie had a sucky travel time; she was sick, but now... at home: Her little nose is back to its vibrant pink color. She also cheered my friends we visited. The pooch is totally PC :). She just loves people!

Bobbi, glad to hear you pooch is feeling better and that the people you visited were cheered up. It is nice that you vist with them and your pooch can go along and help cheer them up. I know the difference a dog can make in our life even if it is just for a vist.
