It would be nice if this was an April Fools joke but alas no such luck.

Where I'm located we received 14 inches of snow. My fiancé's sister about 2 hours north. Received 20 inches Yikes !!

It also looks like there maybe more snow next week.

Now I enjoy snow but not in April and not only that everytme it snows my back starts screaming.

Well you know what they say about the New England weather. If you don't like it wait a minute. You can thank Mark Twain for that quip but I can totally relate.

14 inches - yuck! I was depressed with the 2 inches I woke up to! I've been in extreme pain for 3 days from clearing out little flower beds (should have left the mulch!), and now snow. I should know this is not unusual for my neck of the woods...

Sometimes I am an optimist. Hope true spring comes your way soon!

Strange weather indeed, it was 85 just a couple of days ago, now it's 27! I've seen worse though, when I was living in Minnesota, we got 11 inches of snow on April 30th! Snow is pretty common up that way into mid-April but cold weather this far south (Kentucky) is unusual for this time of year. I figure we are paying the price for two weeks of temps that were 25 degrees above normal. I guess Mother Nature has to balance things out, it's not supposed to warm up until next week.

We are having cool temperatures for a few days but thanfully it will be warming up again on Sunday. This past week was as nice of weather as you could ask for. I just hope the flowers and plants don't get hurt by the frost that is being predicted.

Glenn, stay inside and stay warm until the snow passes.

Mark,

Alas, my sister (Ms. Gardener) said that it WOULD hurt the plants and flowers. But I don't have a whole lot of flowers I have to worry about. I am hoping it doesn't hurt the Hostas like it did last year when the temps dropped and the two hailstorms came through.

It IS weird for us to have had 78 degrees one day and then drop to 27 the same night!!! UGH, I will have to check Sunday's forecast Mark.

I saw the flurries during the Phillies vs Braves game yesterday.

Hope it warms up so you don't ache so much.

I just found out we may be in more another winter storm next week.

I'm dreaming of a White Easter.

According to my uncle (an apple guy) in MI, probably gonna be a bad year for apples from MI.

There were buds on the trees before they just got this lake effect snow.
