Hello Friends!
I am finally to be given an appointment with a specialist in RSD at Duke Univ. Med. Center. Have any of you had any contact with a Dr. Osenbach or Dr. Goli? I am hoping that one of them may be able to hlep me to relieve this horrible pain. It has been longer than 2 years from my initial injury, and the pain is NOT getting any better or less sensitive. I am really hoping to find someone who is willing to use non-invasive/integrative treatments as surgery and drugs are not my preference.
Spring thunderstorms are soom to begin and I am dreading the electrical charges that will torture me! Not to mention the increase in military maneuvers that include helicoptors and osprey aircraft that send pulsating voltage through me!
SO, If anyone has any knowledge of these doctors and how to best get them to work with me, PLEASE let me know!
Thanks, and I hope you are all coping as well as possible!
Hang in there! Have Faith and HOPE!

Greetings Mrshippie,

You ask if anyone knows of an integrated healing process. Have you looked into Integrated Manual Therapy? It is a somewhat new approach to Physical Therapy and is a wonderful-painless form of treatment.

I have been undergoing treatment for Gluten Ataxia for the past 6 months through a PT center in Maine. There are two ways that I know of to find a PT center that utilizes IMT. Go to the web site for Integrated Manual Therapy at www.centerimt.com or google physical therapy with integrated manual therapy in your state.

While I have not done this- I know you can get a group of appointments at the headquarter offices in Connecticut, see website for contacts. Sometimes people, who live a distance from there, will get a full day of treatments. But hopefully you'll be able to find something in your area. They are the pain people to deal with, good luck.

Here's to feeling better sooner,
Cheers!
Leslie
