The recalled 13.2-ounce and 22-ounce ALPO Prime Cuts cans and 6-, 8-, 12- and 24-can ALPO Prime Cuts Variety Packs have four-digit code dates of 7037 through 7053, followed by the plant code 1159. Those codes follow a "Best Before Feb. 2009" date.** This information should be checked on the bottom of the can or the top or side of the multi-pack cartons.

want to take a guess at what else besdes the pedigree we've been feeed ing meanness! yep. i give up. i can't take care f my house ,feed my hubby or dog and i'm just about ready to let it allo just cave in on me and be done with it. and first i have to clean up the mess on my hardwood floor as i had opened the can and the goop spilled out of course.

this is the edited part i added:\
i just checked the dry also. we have been mixing the canned with dry diamond also. we were in a hurry last time and bought food at a different place. we usually do feed pedigree both dry and canned. as i passed through the den i noticed meanness had gotten himself some twist and shout chocklate cookies, they are like oreos. i guess he figures he can't do any worse than us humans feeding him! end of edit/

then i'm going yo bed and pull the covers up and wait until a mirale happens.
right. it's sure to happen any day now. i think i spend too much time on computer. at least then when my dog dies i would have thought it was a natural thing. and i guess my doctor was also right in saying i shold not go to mayo clinic. he already knew what i would be told. too much knowledge can spoil happiness sometimes i think.

Joy you crack me up! I need more of your attitude to rub off on me!:D

Are you saying you have been feeding your dog poison? Oreo's aren't good for doggies don't ya know! Seriously though, I know just what you mean about having too much knowledge. Be might just break up the brain cells we have left!

I'm reluctant to even check out the brand Rags & Pepper eat. Got enough to deal with right now.....

No advice here about going to Mayo clinic, I'm in a no more doctor's zone myself. Patient heal thyself is my motto from now on!

Take care,Buttons

oh i have advice about the mayo clinic - been there came home dissapointend and with a hole worn down to the bone the sixe of a quarter. see, i really can't feel my feet. rather have the paion as this crap does not stop progressing! they showed me walkers and wheelchairs as in here's your future, don't put off beginning to use them to long as you will need them.

now that dog stole those cookies. hubby left them on recliner so meanness helped himself to the rest of the package. guess he liked them better than rat poision. and now remember i have been putting WHIPPED CREME on that rat posion to get him to eat it! guess it might make it taste better. and remember i have mentioned the steanky smells from him also. whew. it's bad oderoferous.

but yes, we did feed him plenty of alpo. i checked and i don't think it was on the list at first when i checked. but often hubby is busy and we buy the dog food other places and they don'y sell the pedigree. and the feed store carried the diamnod brand of dry food. i can remember that diamond name because that is what i called my part bassett and part weiner dog. we got him when i was 40. there is more to the name diamond but i'll share that by pm if you want to know as i don't want to put it out for everyone to see nor do i want to see it later. i'd rather just forget it! but diamond was a good ole dog but he and dobie died just a short time apart and we were told they WERE most likely poisioned. in any case, if they were, they were just as dead as if it had been natural and we did not hear the rumor in time to have it checked out. i would not have done anything to neighbors or whoever as i knew it could not have been proved who anyway. but some people prefer flowers to dogs. but ours WERE in a pen so can't understand just why unless they could NOT keep their kids home from pestering them and thought they might get bit. that part is over. i still am worried plenty about meanness. i had already said he was getting as lazy as myself and mentioned he was drinking a lot of water. it's all here and dated. but we shall see. hubby said we will get around to taking him in soon, but as we BOTH have been going into doctors and dentists from 2 to 3 times a week, there has not been time for that and charitable work too.

i understand that about having enough to deal with now. right now i'm sick of doctors again. tomorrow is pain doc day. i have been many times to pain doctor. boy is it ever rough and i am USED to needles. i can't stand the punch test. where they mash in and say does this hurt. i start off saying it's going to HURT anywhere you touch me, let alone push in!! we don't understand the same language but by the time he has me in tears he KNOWS it's time to stop. he will for sure this next time anyway.

hope you are having sunshine up your way. we had hot weather and tornadoes amd now it is back to freeze warnings at night and very breezy during the day.
