No strings attatched to this one, I promise.
Only requirment is to have been a member in good standing here on BT since March, 2007.
(I don't want just anyone jumping in here) and is closed to anyone who'se been banned from posting.
Pass the word along to your other BT freinds....PM, email or or call them.

We're just asking one thing: we ask that your pray or send good thoughts for this to go well, and that the foal be born healthy and no problems with birthing.

The Maiden Mare, Molly is 7 years old.
She's part Quarter horse and Paint.
She was stable bred on April 7, 2006, by 4 year old stallion, Doccers.
She was due to foal 2 weeks ago on March 13, '07.

About a week ago she lost her mucas plug...a sure sign of foaling, but not always.
She began waxing only just a little but is NOT waxing at this time.

She had false labor that nite but did not foal then...perhaps was colic.
Her teets are very full and her belly has dropped a lot since last week.

I will post pictures of her often.

The winner will receive in the mail a check for $10 to anyone who comes the closest to predicting the foaling date, time and sex.

Gift basket will be If you come within 4 hours or closer,
you will then win a small but beautiful Equestrian themed Easter gift basket.
Sorry, I cannot make this offer to those not in the US.
Those outside the US will recieve a check for $15 US dollars in lue of the gift basket...shipping too costly...sorry.

I've been making gift baskets for years, and so far everyones loved them!

You do NOT have to put any money in a kitty or fund...this is just something This is just for fun with my cyber BT freinds. I will NOT accept any $ for this.
I am NOT rich...in fact we're dirt poor!.
This would be a good way for your children or grandchildren to learn about horses.....good Spring Break project this week!

You can google search all you'd like to find any information on foaling.
Do your searching before you make your choice.
Once you feel you'll get it right...you must PM me with what you're predicting.
I will NOT share with others what your predictions are.
This will be a lot of fun for the family...anticipating the birth of a foal!

If something goes wrong with the foal...this offer will be null and void...who wants to do something like this if the foal doesn't live!
So please....PM me ASAP with your prediction!
Hurry...tonite may be the nite...then again...may be next week...or the week after! Who knows! She'll foal when she's ready!
One hint I'll share with you....80% of all foals are born between ____and___!
You'll have to do some searching! LOL!
I've spent too many nites trudging down to the barn in the middle of the night. This is scary for me...but must be done!
We even have a sleeping cot and pillows down in the barn.
I'll post a few pics every day...and let you know what changes have taken place.
If she foals and you haven't PM'd me...you'll lose out....if you PM me and things change with her...you can't change your prediction.
So make sure you've thought this thru!
Today she came running up our hill to meet me at the gate. She stopped part way up....and acted very uncomfortable...then just meandered up to me very slowly. She knows I have "cookies" in my pocket for her...not good to do as it makes the horses "nippers".
They can be running around having fun...show no signs of foaling...then half hour later...out pops a foal!
Keep watching and have fun with this!
Blessings, Cheryl

Crytears,
I haven't a clue as to when the foal will arrive and since I'm going out of town for a while I won't bet.
I only wanted to say I love the pics, especially the one of you riding the quarter horse!!!! That's even more then I could manage these days I'm sorry to say..
Oh goodness did Madi get kicked, poor thing..
My FIL got kicked in the forehead yrs and yrs ago and still has a real BIG knot on his forehead, I never saw anything like it.
I will pray for a healthy foal..
Linda

How mushy is the spot on each side of her tail.....

Hi Jan....her entire hind quad has been mushy for 2 weeks now...even down to her hind legs! But her tail is whipping around pretty good.
We've braided her tail and put vet wrap on it 3 times now, but comes loose. We thought for sure last week she'd foal! ha!
Its like she's playing a game with us.
She doesn't have what I'd call the classic "triangle" underneath, but from what I've read...that dont mean a thing!
Her teet bags are very full today, but not waxing...hmmmm!
I'm ready to put a pin in her....POP!
Its a full moon tonight...very cold tho...it snowed a little last night, very odd.
Baby mabey soon!
I'm going out to the barn in a few hours....check her for the nite...sigh!
I'm getting really tired of this....I'm so spooked going all the way down to the barn in middle of the night:eek: thats what my eyes look like! LOL!
Blessings, cheryl

cheryl i won't start looking up info tonight or i'd not get any sleep for sure, may not anyway.

did i tell you that i can cause an accident by just being in a vehicle? well i can. danny had went to talk to the man that was supervisor of the church project and had the air conditioner on but the window was rolled down. now even emilee knows pappy talks a lot. we get tired of waiting for him lots of the time, lol. so here i was sitting thinking how dumb to have the window down and air running. i reached over and turned off the key. and my tahoe went rolling down the slope. i noticed a big trailor and was just wondering what was going to be broken, maybe both back windows or what! luckily it was just the tail light and two big fist size dents on the back. it broke a reflector light on the trailer & will have to be re-wired. a relative that kept lucky the colt said that he had moved lucky and that silver had died not to long ago. i told emilee about silver this weekend and she took the news fairly well. just wanted to make sure her pony was still ok.

i am so excited about the new colt addition. i imagine you are just about worn out too with the trudging up and down hill.

ii can't wait for the pictures. take care of yourself. i hope madison gets to be there when it happens or shortly after. emilee was surprised when she ran into the room where mother cat and kittens were today. i told her the mother would move the kittens and she had hid them elsewhere in the house. a smart cat.

Can you see or feel any movement of the foal by putting your hand in her flanks and pushing a bit?

Oh yes...the foal is still alive and kicking...We've made sure all is fine with the baby still alive inside.
Hurry and make your guess...may happen any time now!
Will update more info in a bit...will put into on new thread with pics.
Blessings, cheryl
