My daughter has been very depressed lately and started therapy. Her therapist is one of the people who suggested that I might have Fibromyalgia. After I was diagnosed and told her that I needed to exercise more, she was quick to suggest that we walk together as she needs to walk also. Getting her out of the house and exercising has been like pulling teeth and to have her suggest that we walk together just made me so happy. Spending an hour walking around the local reservoir was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We have made a pact to walk the reservoir twice a week. Just spending that time with her lifts my spirits and makes it a bit easier to deal with this knowing I have the support of my family. I just had to share as right now I am a very proud and happy momma!

There has been a constant theme on this forum, that the clue to living with fibromyalgia involves, rest, mild exercise and a well balanced diet. Your story certainly adds courage and will help others make the decision to get out of the house and move. cheerio.
