Hi Fee,

I've never taken clomipradine, but have taken many other medications. Some do fine on medications. However, I'd be very careful when considering antidepressants because some don't tolerate them well, especially children. Maybe it would be helpful to consider trying 5HTP first under a doctor's guidance and looking for tic triggers.

hey fee!

i have taken clomipramine for tourette syndrome. it is a tricyclic antidepressant mostly used for obsessive-compulsive disorder and panic attacks, both of which i have.

click on this website for the most common side effects of clomipramine:
http://www.medicinenet.com/clomipramine-oral/article.htm and this:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/medmaster/a697002.html

i did not have good re****ls with this medication, personally. but, don't let that discourage you from trying it.

i have tried many medications over years for my ts. it's all trial and error, if you wish to go that route.

take care of yourself,
jeannie
