well, Im 17, and i have meobius...i remember going to my specialist a lot when i was younger, they said i shouldnt get anything done until im 18 because its not reliable, and because it just wont fix it. now i am 18 this year, and ive just seemed to plod threw it all, and even know, i wishhh!! there could be a 'wonder' operation...sadly there isnt, and doubt there is going to be one for a long time....but its ok because i dont even know if i can be bothered, i put up with being myself, its something ive had to learn.

- thats probably what your child will have to learn/or end up like.. and its not a bad thing eithe, there is so much to learn when you have it, as in emotional wise and things, because it makes you stronger, and it makes you a better caring person. well to me anyway. goodluck
