I have the chronic pain forum as one of my bookmarked or favorite sites, so I can go straight to the forum from my list of favorites. However, when I opened the link in my favorites today, the CP forum opened up, but before the page was finished loading, it suddenly jumped to the main page. What could this be? I've never had anything like that happen with the site before. Do you think it is my computer or some glitch here? How might I fix this issue?
Any help anyone can give me would be fantastic!

Did this only happen once? Is it possible you clicked on the main page link without knowing it? My mouse double clicks all the time on links I don't intend to click and it's aggrivating, but I don't want to give up on my optical mouse just yet. Have you tried again to reach the CP forum from your bookmark and had this happen Erin?

Pam: This is my 5th try this afternoon. When it happened the first time, that's exactly what I thought it was, just kind of a fluke. So I went back to my favorites and opened the link again, and again it sent me here. So I tried it again, just to make completely sure it wasn't a fluke, but it happened the same as the first two times. Then, when I came on just now, I tried it again, but it didn't work. It just keeps sending me here.
I'm going to double check to make sure the address I have saved is right, but it worked fine up until when I signed off at midnight or so last night, so I doubt that's it, but I'm going to give that a shot, just to be sure.
This is just weird! I've never really had any issues with the site at all, so this is a rare occassion. I really wonder what it could be. It really seems weird!

What browser are you using Erin? That sounds weird, definitely strange and I tried several times with IE 6 and it never did it once. Are you using Firefox by anychance? Maybe its related to the browser settings, go to Options (in IE) and then click the "Temporary Internet Files Settings" button, see what that is set for-it should be "Every Visit to the Page" or "Automatically" what was it set to? This is the only thing I can think to try if you're using IE...

When you open your favorites, right click the link to the CP forum and select "properties".
Then highlight and copy the url and paste that url into your reply here (this will tell us exactly where that link is going).
