I just started Xolair injections yesterday. It took several months to get all the approvals but I'm hoping it will reduce the many symptoms (respiratory, digestive, skin - just about everything) I've had all my life. Other treatments have been inadequate and long term asthma has damaged my lungs and heart.
I'm wondering how many others out there are on this treatment?

Well I wish you all the best and I am sure that you will overcome from your problems a great deal as my father too who was dealing with similar problem got effective remedy from the said injections. Though the doctors warned that result may vary depending upon individuals but sooner or later the remedy is sure to work.

Thanks for your well wishes.
I've had my third round of shots now and didn't think it was doing anything for me yet. I've had sinusitis and upper respiratory symptoms for a few months but especially for the past week.
At least I have not had any reaction to Xolair - there are black box warnings on it now but no swelling or itching or bumps or any other problems.
Today I saw my doctor and had another pulmonary function test. Amazingly, even though I feel down from a cold, my pft was better by about 3 or 4 points! My doc thinks it's the xolair but I think it's from the recent antibiotic. So, if it's working, it's doing so in small steps. But, small steps will lead to bigger steps and I'm looking forward to being off some of the meds I'm on now.
So glad to hear your father found relief from the treatment.
