Hi, all,

I just wanted to remind everyone of the articles posted on the TNA website fairly often these days. I've been remiss in checking these as often as I used to, and while catching up the other day I saw a number of articles related to recent discussions that might interest many of you.

You can peruse the list yourself by going to www.tna-support.org and clicking on the red box with "What's New (http://tna-support.org/newlook/Inthenews/whatsnew2007.htm)" in white letters at the head of the menu on the left side of the home page. That takes you to a list of the articles posted for 2007. There are also archives (http://www.tna-support.org/newlook/Inthenews/Archive/whats_new_archives.htm) going back to 2004. There are a lot of good articles in there - some on Botox, TN meds, research, compounding and lots of personal stories. And Support Group Newsletters also have good articles and presentations - look under Support Groups in the menu.

There's also a Site Search (http://tna-support.org/newlook/searchtna.htm) at the top of the page in the blue border if you're looking for something in particular (eg. MVD, Gamma Knife or other surgeries, particular meds, botox, hypnosis, etc.).

Here are a few links to articles (hope I don't get in trouble for putting the direct links here), but please keep checking the list as articles get added every few days now -

Thanks Jean
As always, you are a wealth of knowledge. We are lucky to have someone like you who has a handle on the resources out there for everyone suffering with this pain.

Thanks, Jean, for pulling some of those out for us. I try to check from time to time, but it depends on how much time I am able to spend online. I had missed the one on tinnitus for instance, and went and read it now. I learned something I didn't know and that might be really helpful, and that was the masking with lower frequency sound. I think I'll pursue that, there are times that the tinnitus is really intrusive despite having had it so long.

Remember your piano teacher? Or the third grade? If I had a little book of gold stars like they did, I'd stick them on your posts, you're always giving us something useful. Thanks. Nancy
