Another week has passed us by.....the weather is cool (lovely!)with just a hint of rain.It has been a rather slow lazy past week.I resigned my position as Assistant Manager & i have returned to nursing as of tomorrow.I can never quite understand why i always do it ...take on office positions when i know i dont like them..i suppose i can only use the defence of beleiving i can change things for the better by being in that position however i have to say i have learnt my lesson.I will never change ,i have & will always be a hands on person !! so off i go tomorrow doing what i'm trained to do..my passion..back to palliative nursing within the community.I already feel useful & destressed.
My beautiful young man had a birthday on sunday...God's gift to me all those years ago, that he is still with me after such a struggle in life is a bonus. He is such a happy person with the greatest insight into life but then God's special children always are.I pray the week ahead is kind to all & hold you in my prayers.
Take care & God Bless
Glenda

Spring has come here. What a delight to see daffodils in bloom! Glenda, I'm so happy you've decided to be with people, for I think that's where you're most vibrant. Some systems will never change, but you can certainly make a difference in the lives of people, one person at a time! When I think of all the hospice people who came here, I know that I never would have made it without them. I join Gleenda in wishing for all a week filled with good memories either from the past or those in the making. Knowing how fragile life can be, some days those memories are all we have to hold onto. My best to you all...

Beth

Hi All,

Just want to add my name here and inform all is well at our end as well..

PSP seems to now have become known to all patients and medical faternity and with the websites giving support, not many are looking for info like we used to... Perhaps this is a good sign that the PSP LOVED ONES are now being better cared for...

Keep your spirits high and face the world to enjoy every moment of life...

The PSP FAMILY is always in my heart and I remember the love, passion and willingness with which we all supported each other..

Bye for now until next time

Sanjay,

How lovely to see your post. I think of you often. I think the time that this site was down and people still needed support they moved elsewhere and have just stayed there. My heart remains here.

As I was getting my porch ready for spring, I am reminded of the hours Mom and I spent out there. The fresh air away from mosquitoes was so pleasant.

May the days ahead be gentle to you and yours.

Beth
