Interesting Affair of Two With Special Needs

Hi, I know a lady in our community that has adopted a child and the child has special needs, but to me it is interesting because the lady has special needs too and now I think it will be a good thing for showing the child that being different is OK. Right?

What kind of special needs does the woman have. I am assuming she is physically disabled...maybe that is not the right term. I have Epilepsy and I wonder if it would be difficult to adopt now. When I did adopt 20 years ago...I had Epilepsy but it had not been diagnosed yet.
