My name is Jennifer, and I have congenital hydrocephalus and I am just feeling down. I feel like no one wants me to be here. They get mad when I say they say I don't answer them. I feel like some people are being rude to me. I don't have the problems like some other people do, all I really need is friends and it doesn't feel like I am getting any. I just feel hopeless.

Hi Jennifer,
I've seen and talked to you in chat and invited you to come back, both in chat and on the boards, on more than one occasion. We'd be glad to have you in chat with us. There is usually somebody there throughout the day and late into the night. Don't feel like you aren't welcome or nobody wants you around, that just isn't the case.
There is at least one person in chat on a regular basis at night that has hydrocephalus, I know he'd be glad for you to come to chat too.
Hope to see you soon.

Hi Jennifer,
I'm not on the forums much, I spend most of my time in the chat room. If you are looking for friends, I would like to suggest the chat room. there are a lot of really nice, caring people there. Since I started going to the chatroom about a month ago, I have made many friends. If you are interested, please feel free to stop in. It would be nice to have you.

I agree with the other two above posters, that chat is a friendly wonderful place Brain Talk offers that you can go to and chat with other people when you need support. Please Jennifer, come to the chat and talk with us, I am sure it will make you feel better. I know it makes me feel a lot better, jus tknowing I have real people there with me who care and try to understand my situation. :)
Hope to see you there! :D

Hi, Jen
saw your post here. I see you're a young 22. Sorry to hear about you being strickened with this illness. Are there any support groups in your area. Do you have a big family? I see in your profile that you like playing basketball. Well, the weather is warming and you'll be able to get out and breathe in the fresh air and bounce around that ball any day now. It's nice to meet you :)

Hi Jen...I've post messaged you many times...but you never answer me!
Perhaps you're not reading them...or not able to log onto them?
But I've tried being your freind here on BT....I also feel others dont want me around when I post and no one answeres.
Perhaps our post get lost and people don't mean to be unfreindly...its just that we get overwhelmed with so much.
I do hope you're doing better.
How's your job going?
Are you still cashering at Wal Mart?
How about church....any one new come in lately to your classes?
Blessings, cheryl
hi again. it is good to know you are still around even though you are not doing well. i'm chiming in here too. i know my being 61 years old is not the friendship you are looking for but gosh, i'm just about housebound myself so anything anyone wants to talk about is fine with me.
bty, i did have to get out this week for doctors appointments but had to hurry home because of too well things that are causing me to feel low and are embarrasing but i have no control over. so pm anytime and i will respond with something and will try and leave out talk of my bad days. sorry that there is just not enough of us that could get together, no matter our health problems or age or anything and enjoy each others company.
that's what we all really want i'm sure, is our life back. how is brother and girlfriend? still dating? let us know how you are doing, just log on and say i'm feelinbg low, like you did and see, we know you and do care about you jennifer. please join the chat group. or are you like me? i've never gone into chat so probably not about to learn how that easily, lol! hope not.
take care jennifer as best as you can
