I was recently diagnosed with a "questionable small 2mm aneurysm near the left MCA bifurcation" which means one of the arteries at the base of the brain may be more dilated than normal."
I am going to consult with a neurosurgeon on March 16th but as of right now don't have any further tests scheduled.
Before my diagnosis, I managed to quit cigarettes (quit 4 months now) but one of my favorite things was to smoke a little pot every day. I would just sit in my bathroom, read a magazine, have a few puffs -- I enjoyed it so much and it never interfered with any part of my life. Now, I am afraid to because I am afraid it will rupture my annie.
I am sad because honestly, pot really helped with anxiety and helped me relax, it was sort of like a relaxing ritual, a friend. Of course, I haven't touched it since my diagnosis several days ago.
Is it a big risk? If so, would consuming it via eating be safe for me?
And while we're at it...do you think a few beers would hurt me? I like 2-3 Miller Lites in the evenings but I haven't had those either since the diagnosis.
FYI -- I have chronically low blood pressure which I hear is a good thing.
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks!
Angela
