Dumb question

Why is there now a red dot next to my avatar instead of the silver one that was originally there? Just kind of wondered.

There are 3 coloured dots.

Green means the poster is logged onto BT,
Silver means the poster is not logged onto BT,
RED means the poster is logged in to BT in 'Invisible' mode. Only the poster can see his/her red dot all others see it as silver.

If you want to go to, or come out of, 'invisible' mode, go to user control panel (UserCP at the top left of the bar (next to Register, FAQ etc)).

Just to add info to this, if you are invisible and go into Flashchat you will show up in the who is online under online chat users. :)

Hi Erin,

Flashchat is the BT chat room.

It uses the Flash Player to run, hence the name. The player is a free download if you don't have it installed aleady.
