Pain meds and no fun!

Do any of you suffer from lack of sexual pleasure due to taking pain meds?
Have any of you women tried taking the erectile disfunction meds such as Cialis or Viagra? It is used for women I've heard.
Just wondering.

Yes pain meds do affect my sexual pleasure for sure. I haven't ever tried Cialis or viagra but thats mainly because I thought it was only for men.:eek:

Yes...women can also have erectile disfunction! And these meds are now being given to women for loss of arrousal problems due to this.
I have tried it...didn't work for me. If I want anything out of it, I have to cut off taking any meds for half a day.

i also have the same problem...i can start, but never finish...i just received a bottle of viagra, but have yet to try it..... i need the meds tho, so i take them...

Here's what my PM doc shared with me.
Take a little bit of the ED Meds: Viagra or Cealis (your gyny should share with you a few samples...they do write scripts for women...so they have samples!)
OK...you can take just a half tab of those ED meds.
So on the night of the "Event"....don't take your pain meds till you've finished the "task"...then take your pain meds!
The reason there's a problem is that pain meds "deaden" the nerves a little.
So the nerve endings that service the pleasure areas as well as the pain will be a little on the "dull" side when you're on the pain meds.
See if this helps a little.
But like they say "What can't get up....can't get out!"
If you take your pain meds prior to the "event"...even a jack hammer aint gonna do the job!:D
We will all eventually learn that we not only loose our dignaty...but also loose our love life as well.
But even women in pain have wants and needs.
