I have been experiencing anxiety first diagnosed by me and confirmed by my family doctor, she put me on paxil which I was on for about 4 years. Paxil really helped but I ended up feeling nothing at all. I have been pharmaceutical free for the past 3 years. Each winter I go farther and farther into another space. I have a litebook (light box) that seems to help but I can only go on what loved ones can tell me.

My name is Craig, and I have never posted in this area before, but I have suffered with General Anxiety and Social Anxiety to a severe level. I have not been able to work since 2001, and have been on SSDI due to Severe Social Anxiety. I know the difficulties of anxiety. One day can be totally great, and then the next day can be the worst day of you life. It has eaten up a lot of my life, and caused several physical problems, including migraines, becoming ill very easily. One bit of advice I would have for everyone; find a friend.

I have anxiety during the winter. The light box and buspar help (and I try to get away from the snow as much as I can.)
