Banana and Almond Milk

Soak a handful of raw almonds in water over night. drain.

In a smoothie maker/blender put almonds, a ripe banana, peeled and broken into chunks.

add teaspoon of lemon juice.

add water...(and ice if you want it cold).

Blend until desired consistency reached.(add more water if needed.) --about one minute.

You can sieve the results if you don't like 'bits' in the drink, I like it a bit chewy though.

This is a great alternative to cow's milk and is excellent poured on home made muesli.

Enjoy
